Up the Olympic Peninsula

Today, we decided to take the little break in the weather and head out to the coast. Usually the road takes us to the coast south of Grays Harbor. Today was different, we headed north to the beaches of Olympic National Park. We drove north and visited South Beach and Beaches 2, 3, and 4. It was a great way to enjoy the tiny bit of sun we had.

     Today we decided to venture up to Paradise on Mt. Rainier. We had been seeing bits and pieces that winter has really taken root up in the alpine, and decided that now was the time to go. On arriving, it was evident that winter this year seems to actually be bringing snowfall!
